The £1,900 figure is the genuine fitted price of a basic straight combi swap: your existing combi comes out, a new one goes in its place, on the same wall, using a standard horizontal flue. It includes the boiler, standard pipework and valves, the flue, filling loop, system fill and commissioning, removal and disposal of the old boiler, your Gas Safe certificate, the Building Regulations notification, and registration of the manufacturer warranty.

What moves the price, with the actual numbers
Three things push a quote beyond the table. First, the flue. A boiler that vents straight out the wall behind it is the standard case. On a Baxi installation, a flue that has to run vertically through the roof adds £487 for the vertical flue and extensions, and where the exhaust plume needs redirecting away from a window or boundary, a plume kit adds £260.
Second, relocation. Moving the boiler to a different wall or a different room means new pipe runs, more labour and usually a longer day, and that is priced for your specific house rather than guessed at here.
Third, the condition of your system. If the old system is full of sludge, a MagnaCleanse flush alongside the installation is £350, and a chemical inhibitor and clean is £120 where the system only needs light treatment. Optional extras price the same way for everyone: a Hive smart thermostat fitted is £130, and thermostatic radiator valves are £45 per radiator.
